I just wanted to share this letter I got from Missy. Even a small effort makes a huge difference. Special thanks to Chris Cody for the Insurance assistance & Rich Persico for the extra mile you went for these folks, and all who donated. I am always so proud to know that we can make a difference in the lives of others. President Tracy O'Brien

Rotary's Ranger Rick Shellfish Expedition

The folks at Briarpatch Enterprises, Inc. (suppliers of native shellfish) have agreed to take 30 of us out on 2 of their vessels to fish for clams and scallops. 100% of the money we raise from those who go will be donated to the Milford Marine Institute and Wildlife Center. The captains will talk about the fishing industry in the Sound, and it will be a hands on fishing experience for those who want hands on.
Sept 10th, meet at 7:30 for a 8am departure. Returning noon-ish.
This is a weather permitting event with a "rain date" on the 24th. If there is a light rain and calm seas we will still go. This is for people 13 and older (as they only have life preservers for adults). Appropriate attire and footwear required.
$25 per person on a first paid basis.
Please contact Tracy L. O'Brien at (203) 877-8587.

Milford Rotary Lobster Bake
July 23, 2011 4-8pm

The Milford Rotary Club thanks all those that helped us celebrate "The Greatest Bake Ever". Without all the great people supporting our event, it wouldn't be the great event it is! Without the help of Rotarians, family, friends, you wouldn't have the community of Milford connected to the community of Rotary. This event is run by volunteers and 35 years of continually improving upon a great thing. Thanks to everyone, our Club can provide community scholarships as well as memories for a lifetime. A Lifetime of Giving Back
Milford Rotary was proud to recognize Mike Petrucelli for 50 years of Rotary Club membership and service. Mike's membership has been with the Milford Rotary club for the enitre 50 years. Mayor Richetelli proclaimed April 14, 2011 as Mike Petrucelli day and presented him with a plaque on behalf of the City of Milford.

In honor of his dedication, the Board made a donation with a Paul Harris Fellowship in his honor.

Hello, Hello, We’re glad you’re here

And spend a little time with us
And so we sing with might and main
